Cerzoo and Romeo and Enrica Invernizzi Foundation


The current corporate structure of Cerzoo was established in 2017 when Romeo and Enrica Invernizzi Foundation granted funding to Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore to realize an agro-livestock farm to be a model of environmental sustainability in the dairy chain and a way for research and teaching activities of the Faculty of Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Sciences.

To achieve these goals, the Università Cattolica established the Romeo and Enrica Invernizzi Research Center (CREI), which involves researchers from the Department of Animal, Nutrition and Food Sciences (DIANA), the Department for Sustainable Food Process (DISTAS), and the Department of Sustainable Crop Production (DIPROVES).
